LEQSF Long-Range Plan for Higher Education, 2007-14
In 2007, in conjunction with post-Katrina recovery efforts related to higher education and economic development and with funding from U.S. HUD and the BoRSF, Sponsored Programs contracted Regional Technology Strategies, Inc., to formulate a plan for statewide development of research commercialization and technology transfer efforts and partnerships among the private sector and university-based research. The result was a proposed Louisiana Innovation Alliance, detailed in RTS’s final report to the Board of Regents.
